BIO: My name is Amanda Corey, I am 24 years old, and I was born in Warwick RI. I attended college at the University of Arizona, and hold a BA degree in psychology and a sociology minor. I also completed my teaching certificate for grades k-8 and am conversational in sign language. While in college, I began modeling. People said I would never get far due to my height. Even at 5 feet tall, I became very successful. People in the industry thought my height was cute and approachable. I appeared on "Beauty and the Geek" and was announced the winner in March of 2008. Also, I have appeared in national ads for Hawaiian Tropic in "Glamour" and "Seventeen" magazines. Currently, I am featured nationally in 24 hr Fitness gyms across the US - (so the next time you’re working out; look for me:)) Working for Hawaiian Tropic has been such an honor. Not only have I acquired success, but I have met my best friends through modeling with Hawaiian Tropic. I feel very fortunate to have had such success; I only hope to continue my journey.
